We are not only well known but also active in the local environment. We carry out educational activities for the partners of the social support network, volunteers and home caregivers. What meetings have we conducted?

• April 27, 2022 – a meeting with a home hospice doctor for the caregivers of our charges and members of the Active Senior Association in Grodek on the topic of “Prevention of cancer diseases”
• May 9, 2022 – meeting for caregivers and home caregivers of home hospice charges and members of the Senior+ Club in Lewkowo Stare on the topic of “Prevention of cancer diseases”
• June 7, 2022 in Narew – a meeting with a nurse of the Foundation on the topic of “Care of the lying patient at home”. Members of the Rural Housewives’ Circle in Narew and caregivers of home hospice charges were invited to the meeting
• October 4, 2022 in Narew – a meeting with a trainer of psychomotor activities and gymnastics on the topic of keeping the body and spirit healthy, full of strength and harmony. The meeting was attended by members of the Narew Rural Women’s Circle and housekeepers
• October 7, 2022 we visited residents of a nursing home in the municipality of Michalowo where we talking about the home hospice activities and the disabilities which should not deprive anyone of their dreams; a colleague of ours with a mobility disability talked about his experiences
• on December 14, 2022 at Narew Elementary School – a meeting with school volunteers; the Dependent Care Coordinator talked about the mission and work of the home hospice medical team. The home hospice nurse talked about volunteering and the work of a nurse. She also presented her tools kept in the nurse’s bag
• on February 9, 2023 – a meeting for parents and teachers at Grodek Elementary School, at which the Dependent Care Coordinator talked about activities in the project “To give what is really needed”
• on February 13, 2023 – meeting of the Coordinator of Dependent Care with wards and members of the Active Senior Association in Grodek on the availability of benefits, allowances for seniors and incapacitated persons
• on February 27, 2023 – a meeting for caregivers and members of the Rural Women’s Circle in Narewka at which our hospice doctor spoke about cancer prevention
• on March 8, 2023, we visited the pupils and educational staff of the Special School and Educational Center in Hajnówka; the Dependent Care Coordinator presented the mission of the project „To give what is really needed” and activities undertaken at home hospice from the project and spoke about the idea of helping. Our colleague interacted with the participants and drew them into a discussion on disability, which should not limit anyone in pursuing their passions or exclude them from being active in life.
