„People – residents, patients, their families and care professionals – are the focus of 25th International Long-term Care Conference. Successful care is dependent on their partnership, cooperation and culture of care they co-create. Their shared goal is the patient’s well-being, physical and mental health and an ability to deal with hardships and challenges.

Stress and uncertainty in the face of change, expectations and new challenges in care determine not only the environment of residents and patients but also of long-term care staff. A critical factor in shaping that work and life environment in long-term care is proper management of staff, care process and cooperation with partners on a local scale.

Inspiration to deal with those challenges, to grow and change comes from solutions created by professionals on a local and international level. „

On the forum of the conference, Dr. Pawel Grabowski spoke about the  new model of care that the Prophet Elijah Hospice Foundation has been implementing for several years and at the moment in an expanded dimension within the framework of the project “To give what is really needed.”

The very way of doing things locally and its results received a lot of interest and response from the gathered international professionals and decision-makers.
